Excellent service! I scheduled for a large Lp tank to be set, and was treated extremely well. The sales person also audited my usage and account to help me maximize my value for the dollar. The guy setting the tank was pleasant and professional. All aspects from communication, pricing, install, and service have allowed me peace of mind coming into the winter season.

I’ve been with Superior Fuel for two months now. Their customer service, pricing, and delivery of propane has been exactly as promised. That deserves “5 stars” in this day and age of horrible utility companies that routinely take advantage of their customers.

Friendly and helpful staff. Tanks are newer and one had a bad gauge. They sent someone back out and replaced the gauge at no extra cost. Good, competitive prices.

We switched to superior fuel during busy season, aka middle of winter. Thankfully they have been very responsive whenever we call to address issues. The set up process for payments was a little confusing but when I called for clarification their billing department was an absolute dream to work with. The staff is always helpful and can answer my questions. I added propane service to our new home recently and the install appointment had to be rescheduled. The scheduler worked to get us an appointment close to our original date which was really great.

I am a new customer and happy to get heating oil service from superior fuel. Online tank monitoring option seems to be good when we are away from home. The first delivery was done and all good. Hope same level of quality service will be continued.

Great service ! I just left Como after 30 years after they jacked my propane up to $2,79.9 a gallon! I and hope to stay with Superior Fuel for the next 30 years. We have 3 properties and use lots of propane.

Great company to deal with and professional. Upgraded my tank to larger size and added a wireless remote tank reader that they can read and I can as well through there app . Delivery guys are great as well .

We switched propane dealers recently from a previously locally owned company that is not locally owned anymore and their customer service went downhill while their prices went uphill. Superior Fuel has far exceeded our expectations with excellent customer support and great prices. When the guys came out to switch tanks, they found a very small leak in the coupling next to one of the regulators. I had called our previous company last year because we could smell gas, they came out and said it was normal. BOO! Our Superior Fuel dude (I think his name was Todd) didn't even charge us for the new copper fittings. YAY! Very happy so far!

SUPERIOR FUEL IS THE BEST!! I purchase all of my fuel for my business and propane for my buildings and have yet to be disappointed. There service has been second to none. There drivers are always polite and go the extra mile even when the conditions are less than perfect. When it comes time to renew our contracts the pricing has always been competitive and the service never diminishes. I would highly recommend Superior Fuel to my friends and family along with any other small business looking for a consistent fair price and excellent service throughout.

After a year of service with Superior Fuel they sent me a notice raising my tank lease %700. Apparently, by changing the rules, requiring a higher fuel use minimum of 800 gallons is their justification. Unless I turn my garage into a sauna, using 800 gallons is too much for me to use. There was no talk of minimum fuel usage when I signed on for Superior Fuel. So after a year, they must figure they got you and they’ll squeeze every last bit more you have.When talking to discuss this with their customer service rep, I got the feeling they could careless of whether I am a customer of theirs. The customer service rep says lease hikes, and higher minimum fuel usage requirements are an industry norm. Of all the potential propane providers I have called to get quotes for switching to, I find the Superior Fuel rep is not being truthful. In fact, when I explained my situation to another provider they said “ you must be with Superior Fuel”. Apparently, they were getting a lot of calls from ticked off Superior Fuel customers for the very same reason I am ticked.

Superior Fuel is great to work with. The staff are extremely helpful when it comes to answering all your questions. Their response times are incredible and they are always happy to help. I am so happy I switched over to them. My previous propane company was just that, a company where Superior Fuel Company makes you feel like a part of their family. They treat you so well. I wish I had switched to them sooner.

Heating Assistance May Be Available to You

Superior Fuel would like to help you with energy assistance programs. Energy assistance is federally funded through the United States Department of Human Services. 

Lower income households may be eligible for energy assistance programs to help the occupants pay for home heating costs. Homes with the lowest household income, coupled with the highest energy costs, will receive the greatest benefit from assistance.

  • Households at or below 50% of the median state income.
  • The amount of money qualified for in the assistance grant is based on the size of household, household income, type of fuel used and the energy usage patterns.
  • Either renters or homeowners can be eligible for assistance grants.

Payments and Provided Services:

  • Direct payment to the energy provider.
  • Education for consumers to use home heating energy efficiently and safely.
  • Advocacy with energy suppliers and human service providers on behalf of consumers.
  • Crisis help for utility disconnections or necessary fuel deliveries.
  • Emergency heating system repair or replacement.
