Superior Fuel is a locally owned, full-service energy provider proudly serving Northern Minnesota and Wisconsin communities since 2006. To further strengthen our position as a trusted and valued local business, we hosted two Open House events this summer one at our Ely, MN location (June 28), and one at our Duluth, MN (July 26) office location. We invited everyone to stop in and meet the Superior Fuel team, grab a bite to eat, and take advantage of our propane cylinder tank fill specials. Our Customer Service Representatives were on site to answer questions, help with renewals, and even sign-up new customers. We want to thank everyone who attended, it was a pleasure meeting you!

Superior Fuel had an amazing presence at the 2023 Duluth Air Show, engaging with attendees and forging connections. this year, our pride swelled as we stood as Silver Level sponsor, delivering 1,000 gallons of diesel fuel to power the thunderous ‘Smoke N Thunder’ Jet Car, expertly piloted by Bill Braack. Our own Transport Driver, Dave Peterson, contributed to the excitement by refueling the Jet Car, even gracing the track as ‘Smoke N underrated alongside the aerobatic prowess of ‘Long EZ,’ owned by Kyle Fowler of Go EZ Aerobatics. What to Do if You Smell Gas
If you smell gas in your home or business, the following steps must be taken:
Get everyone out of the building immediately. Do not operate a light switch, cigarette lighter, appliance or thermostat. Any spark in the area where propane gas is present may ignite the gas. Call Superior Fuel Company from a neighbor’s house or use a cellphone. Do not go back into the house. Put out all smoking materials and other open flames. Turn off the gas supply at the tank or cylinder. The shut-off valve is located in the dome on top of the tank. Turn the shut-off valve, by hand, clockwise (to the right) until it stops, turning. Remain out of the house until a service person says it is safe to return.
If you run out of gas, the following steps must be taken:
