Superior Fuel Marks a Milestone with Ribbon-Cutting Ceremon
Superior Fuel proudly hosted a ribbon-cutting event to celebrate the grand opening of our newest office in Superior, WI on November 14, 2023. The ceremony, attended by distinguished guests including Jim Paine (Mayor of Superior), Taylor Pedersen (President of the Superior Chamber of Commerce), Kelly Peterson (Executive Director of the Superior Business Improvement District), and Jim Caesar (Development Association Executive Director), marked a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to enhancing customer service and expanding its presence in Northern Wisconsin.
The new office, strategically located at 1330 Tower Avenue in Superior, WI, is more than just a physical space-it is a hub for Superior Fuel’s Corporate Operations, designed to provide a centralized point of contact for those seeking premium energy solutions. The office is open to the public, welcoming visitors to stop in and talk to Customer Service Representatives, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
With the support of local leaders and the community’s enthusiasm, Superior Fuel looks forward to making a positive impact in Northern Wisconsin and beyond.
Superior Fuel's Cant Road Location Slated to Close
This move marks a significant step towards creating a more seamless and efficient operation for our valued customers. The renovations are expected to be completed mid-December 2023. The Operations and Service teams will move to the new location at 3020 W Superior Street in Duluth, MN from our Cant Road location. Upon the completion of the move, the Superior Fuel office located at 5102 S Cant Road, Duluth MN will officially be closed, and customer services will no longer be provided at that location.
As part of the transition, we have regrettably discontinued the propane cylinder fills at our Cant Road location as of December 9, 2023. Bear’s Heavy Duty Parts & Equipment (Duluth, MN), CARS Complete Auto Repair Service (Duluth, MN), Fredenberg Minno-Ette gas station (Duluth, MN) and Gnesen Convenience Store (Duluth, MN) has propane cylinder fill services available. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your flexibility during this transition.
The new Superior Fuel office at 3020 W Superior Street will be operational, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. However, please note that it will not be open to the public. We encourage customers who prefer in-person discussions with a Customer Service Representative to stop in at one our office’s located in Superior, WI, Spooner, WI, or Ely, MN. Our team is ready to assist you.

The festive season kicked off with a splash as members of the Superior Fuel team dove headfirst into the Christmas City of the North Parade, a beloved annual event that was held on Friday, November 14, 2023, in Duluth, MN. Embracing this year’s theme, “Diving Into Excellence with Superior Fuel,” the team took creativity to new depths, turning an old propane tank into a captivating underwater submarine.
The heart of Superior Fuel’s parade entry was the transformed propane tank, now a cool and imaginative underwater vessel. But the creativity didn’t stop with the submarine. Members of the Superior Fuel team worked their magic turning a trailer into an underwater adventure on wheels. Lights twinkled, bubbles floated through the air, and colorful jellyfish danced along, creating a magical underwater scene. It was a sight to behold as the submarine, adorned with bright lights rolled down the streets of Duluth, capturing the attention and awe of parade-goers.
Dedicated volunteers joined the parade procession and walking alongside the creatively decorated float as underwater sea creatures including a shark, sea turtle, octopus, clown fish, stingray, and a seahorse. Superior Fuel volunteers handed out candy to the eager kids lining the parade route. Their enthusiasm and festive spirit contributed to making the Christmas City of the North Parade a memorable experience for all.
